HemoCue® Hemoglobin System
The HemoCue® Hemoglobin systems provide an opportunity for quick, simple and reliable quantitative hemoglobin results with lab quality results.
The dual wavelength analyzers correct for lipemia, leucocytosis and other sources of turbidity. Any blood source (capillary, venous or arterial whole blood) can be used. The disposable microcuvette collects the exact amount of blood and mixes the sample with the reagents automatically. The microcuvette is placed into the portable analyzer. Results appear on the display screen in about a minute.
- Produce accurate results in about a minute
- Utilize only 10 µL of capillary, venous or arterial blood
- Precalibrated, portable analyzers that require a minimum of maintenance
- No calibration or instrument manipulation (between cuvette/reagent batches) needed
- Automatically compensate for turbidity due to lipids or leucocytosis
- Can be used by non-laboratory personnel after a brief training session
HemoCue® Hb 201+
This is our second generation, improved standard product. Just as
earlier versions, this system combines the precision and accuracy of a
laboratory measurement with a quick turn around time and ease of use.
HemoCue® Hb 201 DM
The 201 DM systems bring modern Data Management capabilities to the HemoCue®
product line. By means of a wide range of settings and definable
options, the systems can be made to prompt the operator for
identification, lot numbers, quality control and other required
information during analysis. This data can then be transmitted to
clinical information systems. Read more about the Data Management
systems.
HemoCue® Hb 301
The HemoCue® Hb 301 system is optimized for use in
primary care and blood donation settings with results in approximately
10 seconds and designed for high temperatures and humidity.
HemoCue® Plasma Low/Hb
The HemoCue® Plasma/Low system is intended for
measurements of low concentrations of hemoglobin in plasma, serum or
aqueous solutions read more under Plasma/Low Hb.
