Haemoglobin Testing
Haemoglobin is used to monitor and manage anaemia in dialysis patients. By using the HemoCue® Haemoglobin system, information about the patient’s anaemia status can be obtained in more timely manner, and thus medical care can be initiated sooner. Point-of-care testing using the HemoCue® system can also facilitate more appropriate EPO dosages and has been proven to be much more accurate than something like the haematocrit method.
