In order to ensure precise test results from capillary blood samples it is vital to have a spontaneous flow of blood.
A spontaneous flow of blood can only be achieved by using careful sampling technique, an important element of which is to ensure a sufficiently deep incision. Used properly, the HemoCue® Safety Lancet optimizes the chances of obtaining a correct sample value.
Package: 200 pcs

HemoCue® Cleaner
(not intended for WBC systems)

HemoCue® Cleaner WBC
(not intended for the HemoCue® WBC DIFF Analyzer)

The HemoCue® Cleaner is intended for cleaning the cover glasses of the optronic unit for the HemoCue® Photometers and Analysers. The HemoCue® Cleaner should not be used on HemoCue® B-Hemoglobin Photometers produced earlier than July 1992, read the relevant Operating Manual to make sure that the cleaner may be used.
Package: 5 individually packed cleaners.
The HemoCue® Cleaner WBC is intended for use when cleaning the optical parts of the HemoCue® WBC Analyzer. (Note! only for cleaning the HemoCue® WBC Analyzer, not for any other HemoCue® Photometers and Analyzers, including the HemoCue® WBC DIFF Analyzer).

The laminated plastic blood loss calculator provides the means to determine blood loss e.g. during operations where irrigation fluid is used.
For the calculation, the whole blood hemoglobin value from the patient should be known (measured with e.g. the HemoCue® Hb 201+ system) together with a low hemoglobin value from the irrigating fluid/blood (measured with the HemoCue® Plasma/Low Hb system). It is also necessary to know the volume of the irrigating fluid/blood. For further information, contact your local HemoCue® distributor.

This Carrying Case is intended for convenient transportation of any of the HemoCue® Photometers or Analyzers with accessories.

The instructive films for the HemoCue® systems are available on CD. The CD's contain information about the installation of the analyzer, handling of the microcuvettes, capillary sampling technique and the use of control material etc. You can order the CD from your local HemoCue® distributor or view it online here at our site:
HemoCue® 201+ PC Software has been developed to be used with the following systems:
- HemoCue® Hb 201+
- HemoCue® Glucose 201+
- HemoCue® Glucose 201 RT
- HemoCue® Albumin 201
The online function of the software enables you to perform measurements with the analyzers connected to your computer. This gives you the possibility to assign quality control ID and operator ID to your quality controls. You can monitor measurements from several analyzers and sort the results according to time, patient, operator or quality control.
Docking Stations - Primary and Secondary
The primary docking station handles the network communication with a pre-defined destination (PC or Data Management Server). It also recharges the analyzer battery while the analyzer is docked. Up to 4 secondary docking stations can be connected to one primary docking station. Multiple docking stations can be linked to a single network connection. A single primary docking station can be connected to a LAN or to a PC via the USB. A single secondary docking station can be connected directly to a PC via the USB but not to a LAN.
AC Adapter
Only the Egston AC adapter and the HCA02 adapter can be used with the 201 DM analyzers. The adapter is connected to either a docking station or directly to the analyzer. The adapter is available for different countries

HemoCue® 201 DM Battery
The analyzer is equipped with a rechargeable battery at delivery. Note! Only the HemoCue® 201 DM Battery can be used in the analyzer. The battery lasts for several years. It should be replaced when it fails to retain its charge for an acceptable period.
HemoCue® 201 DM Reference Manual
Each analyzer comes with the manual “Instructions for Use”. This manual contains step-by-step instructions for routine use. For installation, set-up and other vital information, the 201 DM Reference Manual should be consulted.
The HemoCue® 201 DM - DMS Software
The HemoCue® 201 DM - DMS Software is primarily intended for users without HIS/LIS connection. The software controls analyzers remotely (LAN) and can forward measurements to host system using POCT1-A. The software generates patient and QC reports and allows downloading of this data. It also allows downloading of analyzer configurations, changing of operator lists, control batches etc.More Information
