HemoCue hemoglobin whole blood systems provide quick, simple, and accurate quantitative hemoglobin results with the same performance as a large hematology analyzer. The dual-wavelength photometers correct for lipemia, leukocytosis and other sources of turbidity. Any blood source (capillary, venous, or arterial) can be used. The reliable cuvette collects the exact amount of blood and mixes the sample with the reagents automatically. Results appear on the display screen in less than a minute. |

Hb 201+: The HemoCue Hb 201+ system is smaller than its predecessor and offers the same important benefits - simplicity, speed and a small sample volume together with laboratory precision and accuracy. The HemoCue Hb 201+ has an internal electronic selftest. Each time the analyzer is turned on, it will automatically verify the performance of the optronic unit. The test is performed every second hour if the analyzer is on. CLIA waived. Hb 201 DM: The HemoCue 201 DM systems bring modern data management capabilities to the HemoCue product line. By means of a wide range of settings and definable options, the systems can be made to prompt the operator for identification, lot numbers, quality control and other required information during analysis. This data can then be transmitted to clinical information systems. CLIA waived. |

The disposable plastic microcuvette contains reagents and through capillary action is filled with approximately 10 µL of sample. Capillary, venous, or arterial blood may be used for testing. The microcuvette is placed into either the HemoCue Hb 201+ Analyzer, Hb 201 DM Analyzer or B-Hemoglobin photometer where the absorbance is measured and the hemoglobin level is determined. The reagents within the microcuvettes are moisture sensitive. Replace the cap immediately after microcuvettes are removed from the container. Chemistry method: Modified azidemethemoglobin. Stability: Unopened in room temperature, 2 years from the date of manufacture. Opened vial in room temperature, 3 months. Individually packed, expiry date noted on the package. Package: 1 box (4 cartons each with 25 individually packed cuvettes) 1 box (4 vials with 50 cuvettes per vial) |
